The incident occurred in Maharanipur area under Teliyamura Divisional Forest Department around 2 pm on Sunday night.<\/strong><\/p><div dir=\"auto\"><strong>It is known that on Sunday night suddenly a wild tusk elephant entered the Maharanipur area and went on rampage and entered a house in the area and caused extensive damage to a living room. Destroys various items including rice stored inside the house. Family members alleged that, on Sunday night, wild tusked elephants entered the house and destroyed about 8 maunds of paddy stored in the house and went on rampage in the house. But despite repeated attempts to contact the forest department, for some unknown reason, no one from the forest department could be reached, starting with the ADS team responsible for driving away the elephants. Geeta Rani Das, the housewife of the house, expressed her anger about such a role of the forest department in front of the journalists.
