In this, 22.64 hectares of water bodies of the block area have been brought under fish farming. Beneficiary fish farmers have been given support materials and different species of fish fingerlings for fish farming. Moreover, under the annual plan of the Fisheries Department, assistance has been given to 30 fish farmers in Mandai block in the present financial year. In this, 5.50 hectares of water bodies of the block have come under fish farming.
