The incident took place on Friday afternoon under Madhupur police station in Ward No. 4 area of Arvind Nagar Gram Panchayat. It is known that an unknown man entered the house of housewife Sagarika Begum (19) in Ward No. 4 of Arvind Nagar Gram Panchayat on Friday afternoon. A white Maruti car is still standing at the gate of the house. The stranger enters Sagarika’s room and asks if she will clean any gold items. On telling her that there was no gold in the house, the stranger threw Sagarika on the ground and hit her 22 times with a knife. Witnessing this incident, Sagarika’s little child started screaming. What is the irony of fate when Sagarika’s husband Sohag Mia was entering the house, when he heard something unpleasant happening in the house, the miscreant got into the white Maruti car parked outside the gate and took cover. Meanwhile, a rush started to take Sagarika, who was lying unconscious on the ground, to the hospital. He was immediately brought to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital. He is currently being treated at Bishalgarh sub-district hospital. However, no complaint has been reported to the Madhupur police station on behalf of his family so far. There is intense fear among the residents of the incident.

A stranger entered the house and stabbed the housewife in an unsuccessful attempt to kill her, causing panic in the entire area.
