Week-long events are organized across the country from\u00a0<strong>March 1st to 7th<\/strong>\u00a0to support this initiative.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the celebration was flagged off on March 1 to disseminate information about PMBJP in the National Capital Region (NCR). The\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP)&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0was launched in\u00a0<strong>November 2008<\/strong>\u00a0by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals &amp; Fertilizers, in collaboration with Central Pharma Public Sector Undertakings.
