Key demands included an increase in daily wages for unorganized workers under TFDPC in line with rising living costs, implementation of revised wage structures for skilled and unskilled workers in the state on the lines of the Central Government, and bringing unorganized workers who have served for more than 10 years in government establishments under government protection and benefits.<\/p>\n<p>The memorandum also called for a revision of wages for all unorganized workers across the state and the issuance of labour cards to workers at every level.<\/p>\n<p>Leaders of the organization stated that soaring prices of essential commodities have made it increasingly difficult for workers to support their families with the current wage rates.
