Both BJP and Tripra held programs at Baijal Bari. In the midst of the tension, Matha party miscreants allegedly attacked the supporters of the BJP party with brickbats and sticks. The incident happened around 2:30 am on Wednesday in front of Baijal Bari sub zonal office. It is alleged that a TSR jawan of the 6th battalion was injured by a brick hurled by miscreants. The name of the injured jawan is Uttam Dutta.
