The government has taken initiatives to make the people of the marginal towns of the state self-reliant. Good governance camps and development fairs are being organized in every gram panchayat and village of the state to bring government schemes and services to the poorest of the poor. In this, people in rural areas can easily take advantage of projects and services. Fisheries Minister Premkumar Riang said this while inaugurating the Good Governance Camp based on Padmabil Block recently. MLA Prashant Debbarma, Padmabil BAS Vice Chairman Surjit Debbarma, District Magistrate Dilip Kumar Chakma of Khowai District, Padmabil Block BDO Swaroop Riang and officials of various departments were present at the inauguration of the Good Governance Camp. 15 stalls were opened by various departments in the block-based good governance camp.It has been given a loan of Rs 7 lakh to the self-help group from the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission at Rock-based Good Governance Camp. In the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural Scheme, 3 beneficiaries were given a check of Rs. In the camp, 18 disabled people were given mobility and support materials from the Department of Social Welfare and Social Education. 51 farmers have been given assistance in coconut, pepper cultivation, soil health cards, padi weeders, spray machines from the agriculture department. Saplings of agar, lemon, olive trees are distributed from the forest department. 4 beneficiaries from Animal Resource Development Department have been assisted in pig rearing and 4 beneficiaries from Fisheries Department have been assisted in integrated fisheries. Apart from this, PRTC, ST, Income Certificates are given from the Sub Divisional Administration in the camp.<\/div>\n
