The state government is working in a mission mode with a special initiative to provide every poor person in the state with a concrete house. Agriculture Minister Pranjit Sinha Roy said this while inaugurating the Gomti district-based beneficiary conference at Rajarshi Hall in Udaipur today. He said on the occasion that the central and state governments are working on new plans to build a self-reliant Tripura and a self-reliant India. Priority is given to making all households in the state self-reliant. The government is also giving special importance to the empowerment of women. Undertakes various schemes including reservation of 33 percent seats in government jobs for women, provision of loans from banks on easy terms. The Agriculture Minister said that the government is giving priority to the welfare of farmers and the development of agriculture in the state. Initiatives have been taken to double the income of farmers by using modern agricultural technology, advanced machinery.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Gomti Zilla Parishad President Swapan Adhikari said that the government is working for the overall development of the people of the state. He urged everyone to take advantage of the various schemes of the government. In the event, MLA Biplab Kumar Ghosh said that the government is working for the overall development of the people. Gomti District District Magistrate Govekar Mayur Ratilal gave a welcome address on the occasion. Chairperson of Udaipur Purparishad Shital Chandra Majumdar presided. Officials of various departments including Gomti Zilla Parishad Deputy Chairman Deval Devarai were present on the occasion. In the event, the guests handed over various facilities of the government projects to the beneficiaries. Beneficiaries receiving assistance in government projects also presented their experiences at the event.
