A Joint Operation was launched by 18 Assam Rifles of\u00a0 21 Sector\u00a0 and Bishramganj PS of Tripura Police on 06 December 2022. Five Teams of Assam Rifles and one team of\u00a0 Bishramganj PS\u00a0 destroyed an approx 85,000 to 90,000 Marijuana plants cultivated over a large area of forest land of approx 25-30 acres.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The state police estimated the value of the destroyed plants to be about 50 to 60 Lakhs in market price.
