The incident happened on Friday night. The name of the dead youth is Manik Das. His house is in Ward No. 14 of Khowai Pur Parishad. The police arrested two youths in this incident on Saturday morning. The arrested youths are Madhav Das (Madhu), aged 34 and Raju Oriya (43). The arrested youths are residents of that area. In this murder incident, the police of Khowai police station took up a case of murder. The arrested youths were taken to the court on Saturday afternoon seeking a five-day police remand.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Sushmita Ghosh, the wife of the dead youth, told the media that at around ten o&#8217;clock on Friday night, local youth Madhav Das ring her husband and called her husband from the house. Around 11:30 pm, her husband returned home with his head and body bandaged. The injured husband later told his wife that Madhav ,Raju and several others from the area had severely beaten him up in front of the former Assam Rifles camp. A policeman rushed him to the hospital in a bloody state. At around two in the morning, Manik was taken to the hospital again by his wife and a neighbour who made Manik feel very sick. He died shortly after. The exact reason why Manik Das was taken away from home and killed is not known. Currently, Manik has a son.
