On this day, the main program was organized by the government at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan. Chief Secretary JK Sinha, State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan and other dignitaries were present. However, as the state assembly elections were held this year, the Statehood day celebrations were not held in the same grandeur.
