Nothing could be saved from the flames. Everything was burnt to ashes except the clothes of the people of the house wear. The incident took place on Wednesday around 1 pm in Barbil under Khowai police station. Gaurang Biswas, a resident of the area, suddenly caught fire in his kitchen.Later, the fire quickly spread to the whole house. The neighbors immediately started putting out the fire. A fire engine rushed to the spot after receiving the information. The fire was brought under control in half an hour.
