According to the announcement of the Election Commission, Tripura Assembly Election 2023 will be held on February 16. The last date for submission of nomination papers for the election is January 30. This time before January 30, the bank will be closed due to public holiday for two days. Therefore, for the convenience of the candidates who will submit their nomination papers for contesting the election on 30th, they can open their separate bank accounts and submit them to the Returning Officer on the same day. Chief Electoral Officer Kiran Gitye gave this news in a press conference at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer of the state today.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">In the press conference, the Chief Electoral Officer also said that the work of area domination is going on in various places and checking is being done by creating police checkpoints in order to make the elections free, fair and peaceful. During area domination today, around 93 kg of Gaza was recovered in Battala under Sonamura police station. On the other hand, 5 lakh 57 thousand rupees were recovered from a car by Radhakishorpur police station and CAPF forces during a search at Naka point of Ramesh Chaumuhani in Gomti district. Chief Electoral Officer Shri Gito said that a total of 63 nomination papers have been submitted today from various parties. Out of these, CPIM 38, CPI 1, SUCI 4, Amara Bangali 13, PPP 1, NPP 1, RSP 1, CPIM(L) 1 and independent candidates submitted 3 nomination papers to the respective returning officers. A total of 76 nomination papers have been submitted till date.
