After the Legislative Council meeting, Dr. Manik Saha was elected as the leader by the newly elected members. Dr. Manik Sahar&#8217;s name as the Chief Minister was proposed by the Union Minister of State\u00a0 Pratima Bhowmik, who contested the assembly elections from Dhanpur constituency and won this assembly election.
