They should be used properly. Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tingku Roy said this at the inauguration of the National Wood Carving Camp at Nazrul Kalakshetra this afternoon. Lalit Kala Academy Chairman V Nagdash inaugurated the camp. 50 artists from the state and country have participated in this camp. In the inaugural function, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports said that the state government will take all necessary initiatives so that the talent of the children of the present age can be developed. The state government is proceeding with a very positive attitude in various fields. The state government is working towards developing Tripura as a self-reliant state in various fields. He said that there is no dearth of talented artists in the field of culture and arts in this state. All concerned should pay attention so that they can benefit financially. Especially in the case of wood carving, it has to be ensured that the talented artists are not harmed by the advent of modern machinery. Speaking on the occasion, Cooperative Minister Shuklacharan Noyatia said that the children of the state will benefit from the participation of experts from all over the country in this camp. The more the youth community advances in the fields of literature, art, culture etc. the more they will benefit. He hoped that such events would play an important role in taking the state forward.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Chairman of Lalit Kala Academy V Nagdash said in the event, our country India has now become a cultural hub. Artists also have a big role in building this country. The youth of this country should be encouraged more in the field of culture and arts. He said, the more work can be done on Tripura and North Eastern region, the more prosperous our country will be. Ratan Biswas, director of the Information and Culture Department, said at the event, nothing can be thought of except art and culture. Various steps are being taken for the development of this field. The Lalit Kala Academy has done a lot of good work in the state in the last five years. They should continue this role.Gauri Basu, former director of EZCC, said that work is being done to enable the artists of Tripura to enrich themselves. Many renowned artists from all over the country have come to this camp. By working with them, the young artists here can enrich themselves.In the event, Principal of Government College of Art and Craft Abhijit Bhatta Acharya said that 30 students of Art College will be able to work with famous artists of the country in the next few days. There is no doubt that the artistes of this state will benefit. Sumon Majumder, a member of Lalit Kala Academy, said in his welcome speech that 20 artists from all over the country have come here to participate in this camp. Artists from all over the country are welcomed to participate in this camp.
