MP from East Tripura Lok Sabha Constituency Revati Tripura, Member of Tripura Legislative Assembly Dhananjay Tripura, MDC of Tripura Autonomous Zilla Parishad Preo Nanda Riang were special guests on the occasion, Education Department Secretary was the guest of honor on the occasion.

Sharadindu Chowdhury, philanthropist Sameer Ranjan Tripura and philanthropist Premsadhan Tripura and President Higher Education Department Director NC Sharma.

Those who want to become basic level teachers will be trained in this institute. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has identified 196 districts across the country, which have a majority of people belonging to minority communities or Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes and are backward in various fields. Dhalai in the state of Tripura is one such district, where the benefits of development, despite having great potential, have not reached much. By setting up this bait in ‘Gonda Tuipra’ of this district, the people of the local population will be trained to acquire the necessary qualifications for teaching jobs after passing higher secondary or graduation level. On the one hand, the youth of the nation will get a teacher training institute in their area and get an opportunity to increase their qualifications with new enthusiasm, on the other hand, a sufficient number of trained candidates will be available to meet the shortage of teachers in the remote towns of this district. If you think differently, students from relatively remote areas will get the opportunity to come in contact with trained teachers from their own surroundings and language groups.

Not only this, every teacher in Bight will monitor and review the academic affairs of at least 10 schools in the neighborhood as an additional responsibility and take necessary initiatives for the overall development of the children. Moreover, this byte will stock various learning materials for nursery level children and children with special needs. Teachers of schools in these areas can use these learning materials for students. Moreover, health check-up, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy etc. will be ensured for children in this byte

ReplyForward

Block Institute of Teacher Education, abbreviated as ‘BITE’ teacher training center was inaugurated on Monday at Ganda Tuisa in Dhalai district.
