The injured were identified as Moushumi Debanji (18), Lipika Das (23) and Rabindra Das (62) of their respective residences in Gaurang tila and Bagan Bazar areas. It is known that on Tuesday morning, on the way to Khowai from Kalyanpur in a three-wheeler auto in front of the public fire department and the auto overturned in the middle of the road. The passengers in the auto were seriously injured. Later, when the matter came to the attention of the firemen on duty, the firemen immediately rescued the injured from the spot and brought them to the Khowai district hospital. The doctors working at the hospital after first treating them send them home with their necessary medicines. On the other hand, some quarters claim that this type of vehicle accident is happening due to the misbehavior of the Khowai traffic officials because due to excessive auto traffic on the main road of Khowai Kalyanpur and the lack of proper patrolling by the Khowai traffic police, auto drivers are speeding at their own pace.
