For this, various programmes are being implemented through ARDD. These programmes should be delivered to the actual beneficiaries. Animal Resource Development Minister Sudhangshu Das said this in a review meeting of Scheduled Caste Welfare, Animal Resource Development and Fisheries Department on 20th July, 2023 at Khowai District Magistrate&#8217;s Conference Hall. In the review meeting, various development programmes of the concerned departments of Khowai district were reviewed. In the review meeting, the Minister said that the schemes of Animal Resource Development, Fisheries and Scheduled Castes Welfare Departments taken for public welfare should be implemented with transparency. He said that fisheries and animal husbandry has an important role in the economic development of the state.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The meeting was attended by Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zilla Parishad Joydeb Debbarma, Chief Whip MLA Kalyani Roy, MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, MLA Ranjit Debbarma, Sahakari Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zilla Parishad Harishankar Pal, Chairperson of Teliamura Municipal Council Rupak Sarkar, Chairperson of Khowai Municipal Council Debashish Nath Sharma, Chairman of Teliamura Panchayat Samiti Jamuna Das (Ray), Chairman of Kalyanpur Panchayat Samiti Somen Gope, Principal Secretary of Animal Resource Development, Scheduled Caste Welfare and Fisheries Department B.S Mishra, Additional District Magistrate of Khowai District Subhash Chandra Saha, Director of Scheduled Caste Welfare Department Asim Saha, Director of Animal Resource Development Department Dr. K. Sasikumar, Director of Fisheries Department Moslemuddin Ahmed, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Teliamura Abhijit Chakraborty, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Khowai Bijoy Sinha and others were present in the meeting. Chief Whip of TLA Kalyani Roy said in the meeting that the benefits of various development schemes of the government should be properly delivered to the beneficiaries for the welfare of the people.
