Again, the incident of child death during childbirth in Teliamura sub-district hospital has spread a sensation in the entire hospital premises. According to the details of the incident, due to the capriciousness and short-sightedness of a male servant and a female nurse, along with Dr. Partha Talapatra, a highly knowledgeable doctor, a newly born baby girl died. It is known that Aparna Biswas, the wife of Tapas Roy of Moharchhara area, was brought to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital due to labor pains around 3 am on Sunday morning. But in the early morning i.e. around five in the morning, in the absence of the doctor, a male servant Prabhas Dev and another female nurse Kalpana Debnath try to deliver the pregnant Aparna Biswas, and a baby girl is born. Not getting the child’s movement, news was sent to the doctor on duty and a very knowledgeable doctor, Partha Tolapatra. He came and saw that the baby girl was no longer alive. Then the excitement started. The family members were shocked to learn about the child’s death.
The family members of the dead baby girl alleged that the pregnant woman was brought to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital in a healthy state, the family members of the pregnant woman said that the doctor had seen everything and said that the delivery would be healthy and normal at the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital. Then how the baby girl died during childbirth. If there was anything abnormal or there were any complications, the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital could have been referred elsewhere for better treatment, but it was not done. They also alleged that the mother of the baby girl i.e. pregnant Aparna Biswas was beaten by the male servant during the delivery period and the male and female servants abused and abused the pregnant woman. However, later, when he went to meet Dr. Partha Tolapatra, he left the hospital due to a change in duty hours.
