On the night of Vishwakarma Puja, the police of Teliamura police station was able to nab one of the accused in the Swapan Kumar Roy murder case in Moharchhara Laltila area of Teliamura on Monday afternoon.
It is to be noted that a person named Swapan Kumar Roy was systematically killed on the side of the road in Laltila area under Teliamura police station last Saturday night. Paritosh Gop, the 32-year-old son of Virendra Gop of Moharchhara Ghosh para area, was arrested for his involvement in this incident.

Moreover, the investigating police officer also said that, on Sunday, the police of Teliamura police station investigated the incident and brought a total of five to six people to the police station for questioning. Later on Tuesday, Teliamura police applied for a seven-day police remand and handed over Paritosh Gop, accused of involvement in Swapan Kumar Roy’s murder, to the Khowai court
