A bike rider died on the spot in an accident on the national highway near Bagbasa petrol pump on Tuesday morning. The name of the deceased is Sitanshu Nath (45). In the morning, he was returning home from his doughters school. IN the road a 12-wheeler hit him, he fell on the road and was crushed by the wheels of the vehicle. After the incident, the agitated crowd started blocking the national highway. The police rushed to the news. Hundreds of vehicles were stuck on both sides of the road. The police lifted the road blockade by promising to arrest the protestors’ vehicles and driver.
