Again the betel nut farmers of the state blocked the national highway. While exporting betel nuts to different states, Assam police always harassed to exporters. Farmers blocked the national highway in Kumarghat area in protest. Due to the sudden blockade of the national highway, the suffering of passengers has increased to the extreme. Later, the road blockade was lifted with the promise of solving the problem.
