Agartala Battalion of Assam Rifles participated in various programs on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas at Agartala on Monday. A series of events included floral tributes, Pledge taking ceremony, Unity run of 5 km and March past parade by a contingent. The events were witnessed by the Dr. Manik Saha Chief Minister of Tripura. The main objective of the event was to re-affirm the unity, integrity, and security of the country by taking pledge by each and every citizen of this Nation. After the culmination of the 5 km run, prizes were distributed to the participants. Students & NCC Cadets from different schools also took part in the unity run with full zeal and enthusiasm at Vivekananda Maidan Agartala.
