The Youth Congress held a protest rally in Agartala demanding the resignation of Bishalgarh SDPO Habul Das. The police are taking spontaneous cases of clashes between the two groups. But only the Congress workers are being arrested, how is this possible? Youth Congress president Raku Das asked Why are the police harassing and arresting only the opposition, why are they inactive in front of other criminals? Some policemen are framing opposition party members in false cases. Rakhu Das, state president of Yuva Congress, alleged that even though cases were filed against Congress leaders in the past in Bishalgarh and Bisramganj, no one was arrested.He also called on the police to play a neutral role.
