Strengthening the rural economy is one of the goals of the state government. Unity is power. Khransingh Para Biovillage Solar Hamlet was made possible because everyone worked together. Deputy Chief Minister Yishnu Debbarma said this while inaugurating Khransingh Para Biovillage Solar Hamlet in Killa Block today. He said, cows, goats, ducks, roosters have been given to all the people of this village to be self-reliant. Solar lights have been arranged for everyone in the village. Proper training has been provided to all the villagers to do farming through organic farming system. My village is my honor. Only with this idea will the village progress. Government property should be protected as one’s own property. He also said that today this day has been observed as Khransingh Day. Initiatives should be taken to observe this day as Khransingh Day next year as well. He said, no one knew Khransing Para before. Now everyone knows this village.
On the occasion, Public Welfare Minister Rampad Jamatia said that the state government is very sincere in extending the benefits of government facilities to the last people of the society. Khransingh Para Biovillage is one of the examples of Solar Hamlet. The state government is helping every villager through various schemes for employment. He expressed hope that it will continue in the coming days. Traders Joint Director Debvrata Shukladas delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Animesh Das, Director of Biotechnology Department also spoke. Senior Scientific Officer Anjan Sengupta delivered the vote of thanks.Chief Secretary KS Sethi and other officials of various departments were present on the occasion. Deputy Chief Minister Yishnu Debvarma handed over check of financial assistance of Rs.3 thousand to 61 beneficiaries living in Khransingh Para. Besides, Improv cook stoves were handed over to 24 beneficiaries. Today, Deputy Chief Minister Yishnu Devavarma inaugurated 8 market stalls built in Chhaimarwa Bazar of North Brajendranagar Village under Killa Block. The total cost is 23 lakh 21 thousand 195 taka. Besides, a community hall in Chaimarwa market has been renovated. Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debvarma opened the door. The total cost is 11 lakh 59 thousand 827 taka. Deputy Chief Minister Yishnu Debbarma inaugurated the CC road constructed under MGN REGA project at North Gajendranagar village of Killa block. 1 crore 38 lakh 50 thousand taka has been spent on the construction of this road.
