Last year on November 26, a total of five people, including second officer Satyajit Mallik of Khowai police station, were brutally killed in Sheoratali of Laltila village in Khowai police station area. The court ordered the death penalty for the accused Pradeep Dev Roy in this brutal incident. Judge Shankari Das of the Khowai District and Sessions Court announced the verdict in the case on Wednesday evening after the 28-person witness session. The accused Pradeep Dev Roy was found guilty in the case.Two others were sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment for the crime of attempted murder.
