Surendra Tripura (35) was sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment for raping a disabled (dumb) girl. Hon’ble Judge Ashutosh Pandey of the Bilonia District and Sessions Court announced the verdict in this case on Wednesday.
Incident take place on 2018 July 7th. House of Surendra Tripura in Gobdepa area of Rajnagar block. The home of the raped disabled mute girl is also in the same place. Surendra Tripura lures disabled girl to his relative’s house. Forced rape at relative’s house. The disabled girl was dumb and couldn’t tell anyone about the rape incident for a long time. Once family members realize that the girl is pregnant. During the interrogation, the victim pointed out that Surendra Tripura was responsible for the incident. Then the family members filed a case against Surendra Tripura at Puran Raj Bari police station.After nearly four years of trial, the criminal was finally sentenced.
