The police have arrested the accused on the charge of raping a minor. The accused is Kanti Roy, aged 30. The incident happened in Bagma area of Udaipur sub-division. A rape complaint was filed by the minor’s family at the RK Pur women Police Station on Thursday. The police investigated the incident and arrested the accused Kanti Roy and registered a case against him under 376/506 of the Indian Penal Code and 4 of the POCSO Act. Case number 56/2022. Investigating Officer Sub Inspector Purnima Das said that the accused will be sent to the Udaipur court tomorrow. This incident created a sensation in the area.
