The NSS unit of Agartala Women’s college a traditional educational institution of the state, has been working tirelessly to stand by the society. Even during the covid pandemic, they have worked for the welfare of people with service mentality. Ambedkar Palli village near Yogendranagar in the capital has been adopted by NSS unit of Women’s College. The college authorities have done many programs in this village even during Corona. NSS volunteers of women’s college from the state government often distribute various items among the needy people of this village without spending the money given to them for tiffin. NSS Unit of Women’s College held such a program on Sunday. They distributed winter clothes to the needy in the presence of local MLA Revati Das.
