September 10 is World Suicide Prevention Day. An awareness rally was held in Agartala today on this occasion. The rally started from the front of the Rabindra Centenary Building and circled the various streets of the city and ended at the Rabindra Centenary Building. The rally was jointly organized by National Mental Health Program (NMHP, Tripura), National Health Mission, Tripura and Tripura State Branch of Indian Psychiatric Society. Mission Director Shubashis Das inaugurated the rally. Members of Indian Medical Association, Indian Psychiatric Society, Tripura State Branch, All Tripura Govt. Doctors Association, Nursing students, various level employees, volunteers and soldiers of Assam Rifles also participated in this rally. Program Officer Dr. was also present.
