December 16 is the independence day of Bangladesh. On this day, more than 90,000 Pakistani soldiers surrendered to the Indian Army with their weapons. On that day, an independent sovereign state called Bangladesh was born on earth. This victory did not come easily. He had to fight nine months of bloody war with Pakistan. 3 million people were martyred. It also has the Indian Army. The dignity of 2 lakh mothers and sisters has been spoiled. This freedom has come in exchange of an ocean of blood. Today is a day to remember them with respect. The great victory day of Bangladesh is being celebrated with respect today in Bangladesh embassies all over Bangladesh and even in different countries of the world. Tripura, the pilgrimage site of Bangladesh’s independence war, is not far behind. Bangladesh Assistant High Commission of Agartala celebrated the Great Victory Day this morning with respect and various programs. The first secretary hoisted the national flag. All the staff of the Assistant High Commission and all their family members participated in it.
