East Agartala Police Station and Sonamura Police Station achieved success in the anti-drug operation last Wednesday. East Agartala police station OC Rana Chatterjee has arrested a drug dealer with heroin in the operation. On the other hand, under the leadership of Sonamura Police Station OC and Senior Inspector Manik Debnath, the police recovered 5150 bottles of Phensidyl. Sonamura police station raided the cow farm of Rahul Amin, a resident of Bejimara area last night and seized 5150 bottles of Fensidil. The market value of which will be like 10 lakh rupees. Police have registered a case under an NDPS Act against Rahul Amin. On the other hand, East Agartala Police conducted a raid in Town Pratapgarh area last night on tip-off and arrested Suman Deb (32) father Nirmal Chandra Deb, of Ramthakur Girls School area along with 12 grams of heroin. The police have also registered a case against him under Sections 21 (B), 25 and 29 of the NDPS Act.
