Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated 132 KV power sub-station in Santirbazar sub-division yesterday. This sub-station has been constructed in Santirbazar Municipal Council area. 34 crore 33 lakh rupees have been spent for this. The Deputy Chief Minister also inaugurated Santirbazar Division Office of Rural Development Department in Santirbazar on the same day. Moreover, the Deputy Chief Minister also inaugurated a 24- room market stall at Monpathor in Birchandra Manu of Santirbazar sub-division and Gramin Hut. 79 lakh 96 thousand 865 rupees have has been spent on construction of market stall in Birchandra Manu and 43 lakh 36 thousand rupees has been spent on construction of rural market in Monpathor. On his visit to Santırbazar sub-division, the Deputy Chief Minister also inaugurated Monpathor-Baidyabari Chakma Para road of Kathaliacherra ADC Village of Bokafa Block. 39 lakh 7 thousand rupees have been spent on the construction of this road MLA Pramod Reang, Chairperson of Santirbazar Municipal Council Swapna Baidya, Secretary of Power Brijesh Pandey and others were present at the inauguration of all these projects.
