On Thursday, the CPIM and Congress leadership held a meeting at Sudip Roy Barman’s MLA residence to discuss seat sharing between the Congress and the CPM. On behalf of Congress, Sudip Roy Barman State President Birjit Sinha, Ashish Saha were present. State secretary Jiten Chowdhury was present on behalf of CPM. Left Front convener Narayan Kar also present there. A press conference has been organized at Agartala Press at 3:30 pm. Jiten Chowdhury said that the representatives of neutral BJP opposition parties will be present in that press conference. Jiten Babu said representatives of Matha may also be present there.
