🚨🧧Postal ballot voting begins in the state

The postal ballot voting for the state assembly elections-2023 has started across the state from today. Poll workers and security personnel, drivers of polling vehicles and emergency services on polling day are voting by postal ballot. On this occasion, poll workers of 8 assembly constituencies of Sadar sub-division started voting by postal ballot at Shishu Bihar school today. State Chief Electoral Officer Kiran Gitye, District Magistrate of West Tripura district Debapriya Vardhan, Superintendent of Police Shankar Debnath visited Shishubihar School. Later, during the discussion with the journalists, the CEO said that voting will be done by postal ballot in 23 places in the state from today for the next five days. About 40,000 state employees and poll workers apply in Form-12 for voting through postal ballot. He urged those associated with the vote who have not yet applied for postal ballot to apply within this period so that they too can vote by postal ballot.
