The ‘Unnato Tripura Sreshtho Tripura Sankalp Patra 2023’ will reflect the ambitions, desires and aspirations of the people of Tripura. Our aim through the ‘Sankalp Patra 2023’ is to focus on the overall development of the state. It caters to the aspirations of all sections of society. In the process of manifesto making, we reached out to teachers, businessmen, employees, youth, members of the Scheduled communities, the rich, the poor, doctors, engineers, nurses, rickshaw walla, drivers, and others. We put out suggestion boxes throughout the state and we held numerous meetings and discussions. We thank everyone who participated in this great democratic process.
Major Achievements of the BJP Government in Tripura
Sanctioned more than 3.37 lakh houses and constructed more than 2.54 lakh houses under PM Awas Yojana
• Provided health insurance of ₹5 lakhs to around 13.8 lakh beneficiaries and settled claims
of 106 crores under Ayushman Bharat
• Provided access to clean drinking water in more than 4 lakh households under the Jal
Jeevan Mission
• Increased monthly pensions of senior citizens and widows from ₹1000 to 2000 for 3.81
lakh beneficiaries • Introduced Kokborok in 943 schools, Chakma in 58 schools and Halam-Kuki in 49 schools
• Provided €6,000 annually to 2.4 lakh farmers under PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi worth ₹508 crores

1. Balika Somriddhi Scheme – a band of 50,000 to each family from financially weaker sections
birth of a girl child
2. Mukhyamantri Konya Atmonirbhor Yojana to provide free scooty to meritorious college-going female
students.
3. 2 free LPG cylinders to all the beneficiaries of PM Ujjwala Yojana.
4. Distribute land pattas to all eligible landless citizens.
5. Provide affordable housing to all registered beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin
and Urban by 2025.
6. Set up Anukulchandra Canteens to provide subsidised cooked food three times a day at *5 per meal.
7. Provide free rice and wheat to all eligible PDS beneficiaries every month and provide edible oil at a
subsidised rate, four times a year through the PDS system. 8. Restructure TTAADC to provide it with greater autonomy and additional legislative, executive,
administrative, and financial powers, within the framework of the proposed 125th Constitution Amendment Bill.
9. Tripura Janjati Bikash Yojana – annual financial assistance of 5,000 to Scheduled Tribe families
10. Establish the Maharaja Bir Bikram Manikya Tribal University in Gandacherra to research, promote and
preserve tribal culture and studies.
11. Increase the honorarium from ₹2,000 per month to ₹5,000 per month to Pradhan Samajpatis
12. PM Kisan – Increase the financial assistance from 6,000 to 8,000 per annum and provide
assistance of ₹3,000 per year under the Bhumihin Kisan Vikas Yojana to all landless farmers
13. Matsya Sahayak Yojana – annual financial assistance of ₹6,000 to all fishermen. 14. Provide access to tap water in all households under the Jal Jeevan Mission by 2024
15. Double the per-family annual cap from 25 lakhs to 10 lakhs under the Ayushman Bharat
16. Invest on amount of 500 crores to provide collateral-free loans of up to 10 lakhs to MSMEs and Entrepreneurs with a 100% credit guarantee cover.
17. Provide smartphones to around 50,000 meritorious college-going students under Mukhyamantri Yuva

18. Launch the Tripura Road Maintenance and Upgradation Programme with an investment of ₹1,000
crores to upgrade and modernise road infrastructure in the state over the next 5 years
19. We will invest ₹600 crores in the Tripura Unnata Gram Fund for further developing rural infrastructure
20. Ensure last-mile delivery of caste certificates by providing caste certificates within 15 days of
submission of the application.
21. Launch a Tirtha Yojana for Senior Citizens and subsidise train travel, lodging and allowance to Ayodhya, Varanasi, Ujjain etc
22. Introduce a special package including subsidised train travel, lodging and allowance to Deoghar in
Jharkhand and Gorakhnath in Uttar Pradesh. 23. Establish S.D. Burman Performing Arts Academy to focus on popularising the state’s folk dance, music
and theatre.
24. Expand the tourism economy of Tripura by investing 1000 crores and launch the Tripura Tourism Skill
Mission to provide skill development training and employment to 1 lakh people.
