Tripura Assembly General Election will be held on 16th February, 2023 in perfect security. The Election Commission has taken various steps across the state to make the Tripura Assembly General Election- 2023 fair, free, peaceful and violence free. During a joint search by Special Surveillance Team, Assam Police and Manubazar Police Station at Kalachhra Police Naka Point under Manubazar Police Station in South Tripura yesterday, cash of Tk 2,16,110 was recovered from Suman Das and Mridul Das of Kalachhra who were in the car number TR 08C 0453.
On the other hand, at the same place, Dhanmohan of Gardang area in car number TR 08C 0343 recovered Tk 1,38,430 in cash from Tripura. In two incidents, the police seized two vehicles with a total of Rs 3,54,540 in cash. Manubazar Police Station OC Bishnupad Bhowmik said that legal action will be taken against the accused later.
