On Saturday, the National Lok Adalat sat in the state. Court work starts from 10 am. Apart from the Tripura High Court, these Lok Adalats sit on public holidays in all district and sub-divisional court premises of the state. A total of 6,664 cases were taken up for disposal in 52 benches. This includes 3,949 cases related to pre-litigation disputes and 2,715 cases pending in court.3,149 cases related to payment of bank loans in National Lok Adalat, 226 cases related to motor accident compensation, 3 cases related to acquisition of land, 800 cases related to unpaid bills of telecommunication corporations, 2,180 cases related to arbitrable criminal disputes (MB Act, TP Act) Cases, 183 cases of matrimonial disputes,85 check bounce related cases and 37 other civil related cases were taken up for disposal. .Meanwhile, a bench of the Tripura High Court sits. 26 cases were taken up for disposal in this bench.
