Counting of votes for 4 assembly constituencies of Sonamura sub-division will start from 8 am on March 2 at Sonamura Girls Higher Secondary School. An all-party meeting was held yesterday at Revenue Dak Bungalow with the contesting candidates of different political parties for the smooth completion of the counting of votes. In the meeting. Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Sonamura Sub-division Manik Lal Das briefed political parties on several issues related to vote counting process of the 4 assembly constituencies of the sub-division, The Sub-Divisional Magistrate said that counting of votes will be done in 4 counting centres. A total of 12 tables will be used for counting votes in each centre with 2 additional tables. It will consist of Counting Observer, Returning Officer, Assistant Returning Officer and Counting Agents of the respective assembly constituencies, Candidates from different political parties of 20-Boxamagar. 21-Nalchar, 22-Sonamura and 23-Dhanpur assembly constituencies were present in the meeting.
