A high-level administrative meeting was held at Bilonia Circuit House on Thursday afternoon. The meeting reviewed the details of the counting of votes and its aftermath. State Chief Secretary JK Sinha, State Chief Electoral Officer Kiran Gite and Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan, Additional Director Saurabh Tripathi and others participated in the meeting. Also present were South District District Magistrate Saju Wahid A, District Superintendent of Police Dr. Kulband Singh along with all returning officers of seven assembly constituencies of South District, Assistant Returning Officers, Additional District Magistrate Asim Saha and other senior officials. The officials concerned were directed to maintain law and order and peace in the district during the counting of votes. In the meeting on this day, the right holders were thanked for the fair and peaceful election in the southern district. At noon on this day, high-ranking officials from Agartala went to Bilonia by helicopter. He then held a meeting with senior officials of the district administration and district security department at Bilonia Circuit House.
