Chief Secretary JK Sinha, State Police DG Amitabh Ranjan, State Chief Electoral Officer Kiran Githye, ADG Sourav Tripathi visited Khowai district today to inspect the preparations for the counting of votes for the Tripura Assembly elections. Chief Secretary, DG of State Police, Chief Electoral Officer and ADG held a meeting with the officials of the District Administration and Defense Administration in order to complete the counting of votes properly. Khowai District District Magistrate DK Chakma, Superintendent of Police Rathiranjan Debnath, Khoai Sub-Divisional Magistrate Vijay Sinha, Teliyamura Sub-Divisional Magistrate Abhijit Chakraborty and others were present in the meeting. The meeting reviewed the preparations for the enumeration. The meeting laid emphasis on maintaining a peaceful atmosphere throughout the district.
