An 18-year-old youth has gone missing on his way to Kumarghat from Kailasahar. Four days have passed since the incident, but no trace of the missing youth has been found. The mother of the missing youth filed a missing diary at the Kailashahar police station.
On February 20, Amit Dev, 18 years old son of Abhinash Dev, a resident of Pakhirbada area under Ichabpur village panchayat of Kailashahar left home for Kumarghat, but he has not returned home till date.There is tension in the area over the role of the police in this incident.
