The police of Dharmanagar police station achieved great success in the anti-drug operation based on secret information. A Yaba tablet smuggler was arrested by the police of Dharmanagar police station. The arrested trafficker’s name is Rahul Uddin (26), his house is in Padmabil area of Panisagar subdivision .In the details of the incident, Shibu Ranjan Dey, OC of Dharmanagar Police Station, said that on Monday morning, when the youth was arrested and searched on the road coming from Sakaibari to Police Station Road, a total of 2,000 Yaba tablets were recovered from him in 10 packets. It is known that he was supposed to buy these yaba tablets from Sakaibari market area and take them to Chamtila. But on the way to buy Yaba tablets, the police arrested him. In this incident, Dharmanagar police have taken up a case under NDPS section. The arrested youth will be produced in court tomorrow. Dharmanagar police said that the incident is being investigated.
