Blood donation is the best of all donations. There is no substitute for blood. Blood has no caste or religion. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha said this while inaugurating a blood donation camp organized by Tripura Civil Service Officers Association and Vishalgarh Sub-divisional Administration in the premises of Vishalgarh Sub-Divisional Ruler’s Office today. The chief minister said on the occasion that recently there was shortage of blood in the blood banks of the state. To meet this shortage, the state government urged the people of the state to come forward to donate blood. Responding to this call, Tripura Civil Service Officers Association has also come forward to donate blood. Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha praised the initiative of Tripura Civil Service Officers Association. The Chief Minister said that Tripura Civil Service Officers are playing an important role in the development of this state. Their role deserves praise.
The Chief Minister was felicitated on the initiative of Tripura Civil Service Officers Association. Association Secretary Asim Saha and Vishalgarh Sub-Divisional Ruler Vinay Bhushan Das and other members handed over souvenirs to the Chief Minister.
