Tripura student Debayan Das gets an opportunity to study at Oxford University. Devayan will study MSc in Social Science in 2023-24 academic year. His father, retired professor Nityananda Das, was happy to get a post-graduate opportunity in Oxford directly from Tripura.
Debayan passed higher secondary in first division in 2021 from St. Stephen’s College Delhi,after primary education from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Tripura . The last two years have been working on the society, economy, culture, education of tribal communities in different states of India. Was engaged in research and collection of necessary information from tribal people. Based on this, the opportunity to study at Oxford was given. In the coming days, Devayan said that he will work for the socio-cultural and economic welfare of the tribes in Tripura.
