The women’s cricket team of Shantir Bazar and Sadar qualified to play the final of the state level Senior Women’s T20 Cricket Competition organized by the Tripura Cricket Association. Two semi-final matches of the season were held on Saturday at two venues. Teliamura and Shantir Bazar women’s cricket team face each other at the Police Training Academy ground in Narsingarh. Shantirbazar Women’s Cricket Team defeated Teliamura Women’s Cricket Team by 5 wickets in the match. Meanwhile, in the other semi-final match of the day, Sadar-A Women’s Cricket Team defeated Khowai Women’s Cricket Team by 81 runs. Sadar-A cricket team collected 167 runs losing 2 wickets in scheduled 20 overs in the match organized at M B Stadium. Khowi women’s cricket team came down to bat and managed to get 86 runs after losing 3 wickets in 20 overs.
