Subhrajit Roy, son of Soma Roy and Sambhu Roy from Indranagar, Agartala has been suffering from an unusual kind of blood disease since he was 5 years old. Subhrajit’s parents could not afford the cost of his treatment. Finding no other way, they finally decided to meet Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha today in his residence. The Chief Minister, after being acquainted about the problem, directed concerned officials to take necessary steps to resolve the problem.
On the other hand, Manik Deb along with his daughter-in-law met the Chief Minister today. Mr. Deb’s son passed away few days ago. After patiently hearing the problem faced by the widow, the Chief Minister directed concerned officials to take necessary steps. Likewise, many such citizens from different areas of the state went to meet the Chief Minister, where after hearing all their problems, he directed the concerned officials to take initiatives accordingly. Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. P. K. Chakraborty and Health Secretary Dr. Debashish Basu were present during the interaction session.
