The Howrah River Development Project under the Smart City Project is going on at a fast pace to beautify the banks of the Howrah River. The cost will be 101 crores. Mainly protecting the bank of Howrah river as well as arranging cycling, there will be park, there will be place for morning walk. The work of this project covering an area of 1.2 km will be completed within the year. Besides, the road is being built under this projector under the dam. When the road is built, there will be no vehicle traffic over the embankment, all vehicles will travel on the lower road. Mayor Dipak Majumder informed this information while visiting today. Commissioner of the AMC and head of Smart City Project Dr. Shailesh Kumar, Corporator Aditi Bhattacharya, Corporator Tapan Lodh and others were present with him.
