Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the new building of Primary Hospital at Fatikra y, Kumarghat on Tuesday. In the inauguration ceremony, he said that the government is committed to improving the health infrastructure of the state and keeping the people of the state healthy and safe. While the government is providing state-of-the-art medical facilities in the main hospitals of the state, it is also trying to ensure health services in the marginal areas. Today, state’s premier referral hospital GBP is able to perform more complex operations like neuro surgery, open-heart surgery, bypass surgery, angioplasty surgery, arthroscopy surgery. Due to which the number of patient transfers abroad has decreased compared to earlier. Patients and their families also have to trust the doctors of the state. He believes that the people of the area will benefit from the new building.
