Tapas Dey (46), an electricity worker of FEDCO, was seriously injured after falling down from the pole while doing electricity installation work in Sabroom Bhangamura area. He was rescued in a bloody state and taken to a local hospital. From there he was brought to Shantibazar district hospital after 2 hours. Referred to GB Hospital from there. It is 2 hours late at Srinagar hospital. It is alleged that the ambulance did not arrive in time for GB to arrive on him. On the way back, the ambulance ran out of fuel. Another ambulance was taken from Shantirbazar. That too is slowly coming up to GB. Colleagues of deceased Tapas alleged that if had been brought GB at the right time, it would have been possible to save him.
